Well, things are a lot more relaxed now ;) (6:30pm)
The contractions were getting to a point about an hour ago where they were unbearable for Connie. The doctor and both of us agreed it was time for an epidural. That got done about 10 minutes ago by a really nice a funny doc. Connie is feeling *much* better now
She is at 6 centimeters dilated and they will probably turn on the Patocin again soon to kick up the contractions again. Whew, things were pretty tense there for awhile…

Ahhh…that’s more like it. Like I said before Con, the idea is to have a baby, not have an “experience”, and the epidural is a great idea!
Now James, remember, it didn’t work for me, but who knows, it might work for you. Remind the doctor of YOUR pain, YOUR suffering, and how much you would benefit from some sort of medication. Something fun, but not too fun, so you can still function, be there for Connie, update the blog, take photos…but wait a minute, if the doc has already administered the epidural…too late. Oh well.
